Big ups to parents of 4+ kids!!!

When did parenting become so hard? Seriously, have I just been in a world of my own till now?

Just as you get on top of one problem another one seems to crop up. It's just never ending around here. Whoever said kids get easier as they get older was LYING!!!

For the last few months we have only had one child with issues. Poor Ari wasn't blessed with the best start to her schooling. It's only taken 4 years to figure out she's been dealing with dyslexia and a mild form of an attention disorder. One psychiatrist visit and some counseling and we seem to be on the right track.

Now her twin sister has decided to join the foray. I must admit Mikayla is a bit of a forgotten child as she does school easy and attracts friends like bees to a flower. Now we all know girls can be bitches but did the bitchyness have to start at 9? Hopefully after the talk we had last night about confronting the backstabbing with her friends will help and she can resolve her problems.

Of course we can't leave out the boy....who it turns out is still having identity issues. Growing up with older sisters he has naturally gravitated to girls as friends but as he approaches 7 this is not the done thing. Not quite knowing what is proper boy behavior he is stepping over the boisterous line a bit and has hooked up with the wrong group of boys. I should be grateful though as he is the model student In the classroom.

Then we have the toddler....ok, she's only 2 but boy is she stubborn and pigheaded!! I blame her father of course. We are a week into toilet training and things are progressing well but mentally she's stuck between still wanting to still be a baby but also being a big girl. Of course this is causing some pretty major meltdowns both at home and with her carer. Mummy and daddy really don't help the situation though cause our baby is growing up way too fast and we are still grappling with wanting our baby to stay a baby a bit longer.
